Welcome to the Accounting Historian's Research Database (AHRD)

Given the explosion in the number of journals and difficulties in disentangling research from noise, the AHRD aims to simplify the job of the researcher.

The site indexes the 3 English language accounting history journals: Accounting Historians Journal, Accounting History Review (formerly Accounting, Business and Financial History), and Accounting History. Additionally, and also De Computis (Spanish Journal of Accounting History). In 2024-2025 we will index accounting history articles from Japan, China, France, Italy, and Germany.
